Department of Egyptology and Assyriology

Postdoctoral Research Associate Program

Each year the department appoints a one-year (with potential for second year re-appointment) Postdoctoral Research Associate.

The program is intended to support the development of a junior scholar in Egyptology, Assyriology or History of Ancient Sciences. The Postdoctoral Research Associate is expected to conduct their own research, teach one course per semester, and to participate in the academic life of the department.

As of January 19, 2024 we are accepting applications in Interfolio. Application review begins Feb 26, 2024.
